Parents need to know that Temple Run 2 is the sequel to the extraordinarily popular action game. The gameplay is very similar to the predecessor, in that players can die in several ways, from falling off a cliff to smashing their head on a tree trunk, though there is never any blood or gratuitous violence. In-app purchases are once again part of the game, but not thrust upon the player -- and in-game credits are once again earned as you progress. Players on iOS devices can share high scores via the Game Center social network, but participation is optional.
